Wisers Stands Out with Its Strengths in “Data” and "Technology"
Release Time:2019-07-31 10:58:49

For a technology company with 20 years plus of history and continuing to grow, Wisers has been embracing a year full of opportunities and challenges in 2019. Companies that have just entered a period of high-speed growth will find it a daunting task to deal with the lukewarm overseas market response towards China's economic development and the uncertainties surrounding the escalating international trade and political tension.

The year 2019 marks the 21st year for Wisers' media data services for corporate and institutional clients from all over the world. In the first six months this year, Wisers has added integrated solutions on top of its database services, and completed the delivery of the first phase of data and analysis model configuration services. In the first half of 2019, Wisers has become a Microsoft Azure partner and has received offers for collaboration from world-class companies and institutions including Cisco China data center and Hong Kong Baptist University. Wisers has completed the negotiations for several strategic cooperation projects.

Wisers and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) jointly organised the Data and Media Hacker (DMH) in February 2019. More than 100 college students from seven top universities in Hong Kong gathered at HKBU to attend the event. The DMH specially set the "Wisers AI Innovation Award" to award the most innovative project that leverages AI to explore the value of media data. The “CYDA” team, the champion and the special prize winner, came up with a creative solution leveraging Wisers AI analysis model to improve the life of solitary elders in Hong Kong. It’s noteworthy that Wisers always attaches great importance to talent cultivation and encouraging innovation among young people, while pushing forward technological innovation.

In March, Wisers attended the “Future Will Lead, The Rise of AI & Hybrid Cloud” forum organized by Microsoft in Taiwan. Wisers AI Lab shared its insights on the applications of artificial intelligence and media big data, as well as Wisers' media data-empowered solutions. Not only has Wisers AI Lab presented its latest research findings, but it has also paved the way for collaboration with Microsoft in cloud technology and big data.

Wisers and China Consumer News jointly released an annual report on consumer satisfaction and carmakers’ CSR in May 2019. The report was compiled based on analysis by professional data analysts and consultants of 9.7 million valid data items from social media, BBS and more. The report showed that not only has Wisers leveraged  big data to improve information efficiency, but  it has also made use of AI-powered Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology to dig into media contents to analyse consumer sentiments and feedbacks, thus gauging the true voices of consumers, and providing more insights for industries and markets to arrive at a win-win situation for brands and consumers.

In June, Wisers was invited to attend the opening ceremony of Microsoft's new office in Shanghai, reflecting that Wisers has become the official partner of Microsoft Azure. Thanks to the support of Microsoft Azure’s technology, Wisers can offer solutions and data to customers more quickly and accurately to help more enterprises complete digital transformation and application of AI technologies.

Wisers has developed from a media big data and public sentiment monitoring service provider into a network technology corporation, focusing on public sentiments monitoring, digitised marketing consultancy, market research, AI solutions, and more. Its services, products and technologies can be grouped into the following four solutions:

·         Digital PR monitoring and consulting;

·         Digital smart retail;

·         Smart finance; and

·         WisersAnalytics brand marketing strategy consulting.

They are widely used in PR, marketing, retail management and financial risk controls.

From the third quarter of 2019, Wisers will continue to improve the quality and efficiency of its data sources, enhance customer experiences, develop and expand the scenarios for data and consulting services, develop data products that are more suitable for the digital era, make use of  partner services and AI to help clients make a successful digital transformation to cope with challenges in the digital era.
